Leo Zanis is a director who specializes in comedy-dialogue commercials. He’s had the opportunity to work with many high profile clients and agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA Chiat Day and Viacom, to name a few.
Starting his early career as a musician at Juilliard School of Music before attending Pratt for advertising and film; Leo’s combined studies developed his appreciation for both audio and visual aesthetics.
After a brief stint working in independent features as a first AD, Zanis embarked on a career as an art director and an in-house director at various ad agencies winning nearly every major industry awards. Including CLIOs, One Show, Telly, New York Film Festival among others.
Leo has directed through reputable production houses like Backyard, The Joneses, Streetlight Films UK and Big Nest Productions and is currently working on developing a few feature stories to be produced in early 2017.
